It’s that time of year that follows BTS… Arguably, one of the best weekends for Canadian music. It’s VFest. We’re talking a heavy line-up this year. Foo Fighters. Oasis. The Kooks. Bloc Party, which is just released a new album that you all need to check out, Intimacy. They have definitely ventured into new sonic realms, but they still hold onto their roots. It’s, let’s just say, a progressive sound. Definitely worth a listen, or constant replay action. You decide. But yeah, outdoor festival for two days with some of the biggest names in today’s music scene. Throw in a little MGMT, Against Me!, Moby and touch off with last year’s flavour of the year, Silversun Pickups and you have a VFest, Toronto Island styles.

Problem is, I can’t afford it.
